We are thrilled for our members James Stevens and Alix Larter who have become the proud parents of their beautiful son Oliver. He has already attended his first rehearsal bringing joy and delight to us all at Greasepaint.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, based on the popular 1988 MGM film, takes us to the French Riviera for high jinks and hilarity. Sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for a staggering 11 Tony Awards. A delicious delight of a musical, the show sizzles and bursts forth with life and incredible energy. It’s sheer fun, a show that is stuffed to the brim with charm, panache and delightfully catchy tunes you’ll be singing for weeks.

The story of his life and his marriage to Chairy reveals a couple who looked at the world from opposite sides of the spectrum, and also reveals that she was the practical one who made his dreams come true. We follow the legendary showman's life as he lit up the world with colour, warmth and the excitement of his imagination and finally teamed up with J A Bailey to create Barnum and Bailey's Circus – the Greatest Show on Earth.

So come along and join the circus like you know you wanted too for this kaleidoscopic, cornucopia of a barnstorming theatrical treat. Blockbuster Barnum! Theatrical energy of the highest order.

We are delighted to welcome both Loughborough and Melton Mowbray Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools as new business sponsors. The schools provide expert tuition across the disciplines of acting, singing, and dance. Like us they put emphasis on individual and team growth in an environment that is passionate and fun.

There has been so much happening with Zorro. A couple of weeks ago Vanesa Argañaraz, academy director of Bespoke Languages delivered a Spanish speaking master-class that captivated us all. Following that Simon Blackwell of Loughborough University Fencing Club put us through our paces during a sword fighting workshop that was brilliant.
On Sunday 5th July Laura Oflaguna of DanceUK is performing a Flamenco Master-class which the cast are extremely excited to be involved in.
We are inviting experts of their craft to help us as we want to give Zorro the respect and authenticity this spellbinding musical deserves...
